Day 01: Kathmandu: Arrival Day (Altitude: 1,350m/4,428ft )
- Welcome to Kathmandu, the capital and cultural hub of Nepal! We’ll be waiting with a warm greeting and easy transfer to your hotel. Plan on an evening briefing on last-minute specifics about your trek and an early lights-out: you have a big day ahead.

Day 2 |
Morning Flight to Lukla (Monjo/Phakding 2,652m/8,698ft Walking Distance: 8km (3-4 hours)
- A short morning flight to Lukla, you’ll be introduced to your guide and porter at Lukla. Kick off your trek with an easy walk through Chaurikharka village and descent towards Dudhkoshi Ghat (2,530m/8,300ft). The trail follows the bank of the Dudhkoshi River until Phakding (2,652m/8,700ft), where we will be staying for the night to acclimatize. Enjoy your free time in Monjo/Phakding, a popular stopping point.

Day 3 |
Phakding to Namche Bazzar (Altitude: 3,440m/11,283ft Walking Distance: pprox.. 10-12km (5-6 hours)
- The trail winds through a pine forest along the Dudh Koshi River, crossing several suspension bridges, including the famous Hillary Suspension Bridge. Passing Mt. Thamserku (6,618 m) and villages like Benkar, Chumoa, Monjo, and Jorsale, we enter Sagarmatha National Park. The trail climbs through forests and bridges to the confluence of the Dudh Koshi and Bhote Koshi rivers. After a steep two-hour ascent, we get our first glimpse of Mt. Everest above the Lhotse-Nuptse ridge. A short stop at Chautara offers breathtaking views before continuing for 1.5 hours to Namche Bazaar, the gateway to Everest and a key trading hub. Day 4 |
Acclimatization Day at Namche Bazzar
- Today we will spend time resting, visit around or perhaps make new friends. There’s an optional 2 hour hike to Everest View Point, an uphill walk that will help speed acclimatization. Otherwise, spend the day exploring Namche Bazaar. Check out the Sherpa museum for an overview of the Sherpa culture and history of mountaineering.

Day 5 |
Trek Namche to Tengboche (Altitude: 3,870m/12,684ft Walking Distance: pprox.. 10km (6 hours)
- After breakfast in Namche, we trek toward Tengboche, enjoying stunning views of Mt. Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, and Thamserku. The trail includes gradual ups and downs with opportunities to spot wildlife like pheasants, musk deer, or Himalayan Thar. We descend to Kayangjuma and reach Sansa, the junction for Gokyo Valley and Everest Base Camp. Passing through pine forests, we cross a prayer flag-adorned bridge over the Dudh Koshi River to arrive at Phunki Thenga, a small settlement. After lunch, we ascend steeply through pine forests to Tengboche. Tengboche offers close-up views of Ama Dablam, Nuptse, and Everest, and is home to the region’s largest Buddhist monastery. At 3 p.m., we visit the monastery to witness a ceremony. Overnight stay at a lodge in Tengboche.

Day 6 |
Trek Tengboche to Dingboche (Altitude: 4,400m/14,435ft Walking Distance: pprox.. 11km (6 hours)
- Our trek today kicks off with a walk through the rhododendron forest to Deboche followed by a bridge over the raging Imja Khol River. We’ll pass the valley wall and then traverse the plains to Pangboche village, the biggest settlement of Sherpas in the region. Enjoy a great opportunity to observe a typical Sherpa village and have lunch with the locals! The intrepid can brave a brief hike to the Pangboche monastery, one of the oldest in the area. Our afternoon trek will be a difficult one, as the landscape gives way to dry, deserted mountains and we hike towards Dingboche.

Day 7 |
Acclimatazation Day

Day 8 |
Trek Dingbocke to Lobuche (Altitude: 4,900m/16,076ft Walking Distance: pprox.. 11-12 km (6-7 hours)
- Beyond Dingboche, we ascend the steep Khumbu Glacier moraine and climb Chupki Lhara, a ridge with stunning mountain views. Here, memorials for climbers like Scott Fischer and Babu Chiri Sherpa stand among prayer flags. Descending to the Khumbu Glacier moraine, we face peaks like Khumbutse, Lingtren, Pumori, and Mahalangur Himal.
- While Everest remains hidden, Mt. Nuptse towers to the right as we cross the glacier. Passing a murmuring stream, we feel the effects of high altitude. Overnight at Lobuche.

Day 9 |
Trek to Gorak Shep & Everest Base Camp EBC (Altitude: 5180m/16,994ft (Gorekshep) & 5364m/17598 (EBC) Distance of walking: approx. 15km (6-8 hours)
- The trail to Gorak Shep leads through the lateral moraine of the Khumbu Glacier, passing the pyramid signpost. Along the way, we see the north ridge of Everest, Mt. Pumori, Mt. Mahalangur, Mt. Lingtern, Mt. Khumbutse, and Mt. Nuptse. A short ascent to Thangma Riju offers a stunning 360-degree view of snowy peaks. After climbing steeply past the Changri Glacier, we get our first glimpse of Kala Patthar, a grey-green hill beneath Mt. Pumori.
- At Gorak Shep, snow-capped mountains surround us, including Mt. Everest. Following lunch, we head to Everest Base Camp, passing the remnants of the Gorak Shep Lake and Indian army mountaineers’ memorials. The colorful mountaineers’ tents stand out against the gray terrain. Though Everest isn’t visible from the base camp, the views of Nuptse, Khumbutse, and Pumori are remarkable.
- For a breathtaking experience, we recommend visiting Kala Patthar at sunset, as the golden rays on the snowy peaks create indescribable scenery. Our guides and Sherpas assist trekkers who wish to hike to Kala Patthar this evening. Overnight stay is at a local lodge in Gorak Shep.

Day 10 |
Trek from Gorak Shep to Kalapathar to Pheriche (Altitude: 5,545m/18,192ft (Kalapathar) & 4,320m/14,173ft (Pheriche) Walking distance: approx. 12-13km (5-6 hours)
- We’ll wake before dawn today to trek towards Kalapathar (which means “black rock”) for a fiery, glorious sunrise over Mt. Everest. The day’s first light will illuminate your spectacular view of Nuptse Nup, Changtse and Lhotse.This may be, of the whole journey, your most opportune moment to snap amazing pictures of Everest and its neighboring peaks. Afterwards, it’s back to Gorekshep for breakfast and down in the direction of Pheriche, our nighttime stop. Our pace will be a lot brisker as we descend, and the walking is easier going this way

Day 11 |
Pheriche to Namche
- The trail winds through the villages of Somori, Pangboche, and Tengboche, offering glimpses of local life. Notable challenges include ascents near Tengboche and Phunkithanga. Spanning 8–9 hours, this long and demanding trek navigates diverse terrain, showcasing serene landscapes and rich culture before reaching Namche.

Day 12 |
Namche to Monjo
- The trail descends steeply, requiring careful steps on rocky terrain. After crossing suspension bridges over the Dudh Koshi, the path levels out, and a light breeze warms us. Though retracing our route, the views feel fresh, with open plains, rhododendron, pine forests, and distant snow-capped peaks. Passing Sherpa villages, we admire their Buddhist faith, prayer stones, and flags.

Day 13 |
Monjo to Lukla
- On the final trek day, you’ll retrace the Day 1 trail, taking 3-4 hours to reach Lukla. The evening at your last tea house is often celebrated with your trekking crew—a moment to reflect on your teamwork and accomplishment. This final night on the mountain is both rewarding and bittersweet.

Day 14 |
Lukla-Kathmandu Fly Out (Altitude: 1,350m/4,428ft )
- In the morning, a short flight takes you from Lukla to Kathmandu, where your journey began and ends. After resting at your hotel, we’ll gather in the evening for a farewell dinner at a top Nepalese restaurant to reflect on your trek and hear your feedback.

Adjustment Day / Rest Day
- We recommend booking your return flight a day later to allow for potential weather delays. If not needed, you can use the day for optional local sightseeing (at an extra cost).
