About the Trek:
The Manali-Bhrigu Lake trek is an easy to moderate trek located in Himachal Pradesh, India, at an altitude of 4,300 meters. Starting from Manali, the trek takes you through oak and deodar forests, wildflower meadows, and charming villages. The route passes through Vashishth, Moridugh, Bota Dugh, and ends at the beautiful Bhrigu Lake.
Along the way, trekkers are treated to spectacular views of the Dhauladhar and Pir Panjal Mountain ranges. Typically completed in 5-6 days, this trek is ideal for trekkers with a good fitness level and some experience.

Suggested Itinerary  
Day 1 
  • Arrive at the designated bus departure point in Delhi (Majnu Ka Tila) by 4:00 PM. Board the AC Volvo bus and begin your journey to Manali.
Day 2  Manali
  • Upon arrival in Manali, you’ll be greeted with a refreshing breakfast to energize you for the day. Afterward, you’ll embark on a short acclimatization walk around the beautiful surroundings of the town, allowing your body to adjust to the altitude and the change in environment. This walk will also give you a chance to soak in the breathtaking views of the mountains and the serene landscape of Manali. In the evening, you’ll settle in for an overnight stay at the comfortable Manali Basecamp.

Day 3 Manali Base camp to Moridugh
  • After a short drive to Kulhang Village, we begin our trek to Camp 1 in Moridugh. The route features a gentle ascent through pine forests and along gushing streams, offering a peaceful introduction to the trek. By evening, we set up camp at Moridugh, a scenic spot perfect for relaxation and a restful night under the stars.

Day 4 Moridugh to Botadugh
  • The trek begins with a flat walk, followed by a steep 1-2 hour climb through meadows and lush forests. We cross a small river along the way and stop for a packed lunch. After some more walking, we reach our Camp at Bota Dugh. The campsite offers a peaceful setting, ideal for relaxing after a day’s trek. Overnight stay at Bota Dugh Camp.

Day 5 Botadugh to Bhrigu Lake to Botadugh
  • Summit Day begins early as we set out for Bhrigu Lake after breakfast. The trail takes us through meadows and snow patches, with a gradual climb lasting 3 to 4 hours. After reaching the summit, we descend back to Bota Dugh for the night. Overnight at Bota Dugh camp.

Day 6 Botadugh to Manali base camp
  • On the final day, we trek back to the base camp, retracing our steps through the scenic trails. After reaching the camp and having lunch, you’ll have free time to explore Manali, visit local markets, or relax before heading back.

Day 7 Manali to Delhi
  • In the morning, we’ll have some time to explore Manali before heading to the White-Water Rafting spot for an exciting adventure. After lunch, we’ll board the Volvo bus for our return journey to Delhi. It will be an overnight journey, giving you time to rest and reflect on the trek.

Day 8 Reach Delhi
  • We will arrive in Delhi by 8:00 am, where you’ll proceed with your journey back home, carrying the memories of an unforgettable adventure.
