Instructor Training Program – 10th November to 15th November 2022
Duration: – 6 Days & 5 Nights
Location: – Evergeen County, Coorg (Karnakata)
Age criteria: – 14 years and Above
Module Type: – Theory & Practical (Certificate Course)
Day wise Program
Day 1 – 10th November 22
Participants are to report to the campsite latest by 12 noon.
Nearest Bus station: – Virajpet (07 Kms from the campsite)
Lunch Time: – 01.00 pm to 2.00 pm
The session begins at 02.30 pm sharp
Program Introduction, Team formation, Ice breakers.
The session ends at 6 pm
Day 2 – 11th November 2022
Indoor & Outdoor Session: – 08.00 am to 06.00 pm
Introduction to Adventure activities
• Equipment Introduction & distribution
• Rope work – Learn Knots & Hitches
• Rope Coiling and Maintenance
• Equipment use, care, and safety
• Equipment Maintenance
• Self-Anchor & Hand line
Day 3 – 12th November 2022
Field day – 06.00 am to 05.00 pm
• Base set up
• Zip-line set up & safety
• Rescue technique
• Ladder Climbing – Instructions and Belay
Day 4 – 13th November 2022
Indoor & outdoor Session: – 08.00 am to 06.00 pm
• Introduction to birding
• Dos & Don’ts on Trail
• Snake Identification and safety
• Coffee and spices identification
• Conducting activities on trails
• Camp Management & briefing
• Group handling
Day 5 – 14th November 2022
Field day: – 07.00 am to 05.00 pm
Practice session for Adventure activities
Post Lunch
• Shelter-making / Tent pitching
• Basic First Aid
Day 6 – 15th November 2022
Practical test – 06.30 am to 01.00 pm (on Field)
• Rope Work
• Base set up
• Care & Safety
• Rescue Scenario
Post Lunch Written-test, Certification, and closing. Participants can plan their departure from the campsite by 04.00 pm.
Package Cost: Rs 18000/- per person
